So, while I was running today on this nice, cool, rainy, foggy day, I noticed in the foothills of the park, a guy playing the bagpipes. How thoughful. What a nice theme for my run. Anyway, speed workout today.. 1600 @ 5:34 + 800 @ 2:34 + 1600 @ 5:28 plus some more running.

eLibs.com is finally launched! It seems to be holding up to the traffic too. It's being geared to the slightly younger crowd, but we're working all the specifics. We're all signed up for CSA. We'll have organic veggies all through fall if the weather is good (it's been way to dry so far). Time to find some good recipies for massive amounts of veggies. Update on 5 mile training. Just ran pretty easy 35 minute 5 miles yesterday. That's a 3 minute drop from just a week before. Let's hope it continues to drop all the way up to race day... and beyond. They seem to have a race in NY every week, with every other week having one that is right for me. June 17, father's day, they have a 5k that will be next on my list.

Well, this unemployment thing is doing wonders for my running. Yesterday, 9.5 miles at 7:43 minute miles. I just signed up for a 5 miler in Lancaster. (My brother in-law and nephews will be in it too? ) I have 2 weeks to get ready for that. I have a picture of me finishing some 5 miler in college. I think I did it in 32:50 or something, so I have to beat that.

The big thing on todays schedule is CSA or Community Supported Agriculture. Let's hope that works out. Good veggies all summer.

Back on the streets.. running that is. Ran a full 1/3 or a marathon today. Not that I have signed up for The marathon yet, but I should do that tomorrow.
