Election Update: It looks like the Communists have something against Colin Powell. I guess you can't please everyone. The financial people, which look at trends, are currently predicting a Bush Win, while others looking at polls are predicting a Kerry Win.

There are many reports about The Rich getting Richer, with the wealthiest 20% accounting for 50% of U.S. income, Census shows, however many fail to account or mention that this may be a good sign. (A bad sign would be a massive, bloody redistribution of wealth associated with a revolution) Imagine, if everyone got a 10% raise, that would mean the income gap would widen, because those who make more would get a bigger raise. That's what is happening here, most everyone is getting richer. The other thing they fail to mention, (the good old 80/20 rule) is that the wealthiest 20% now pay OVER 82% of all taxes. This is an increase from 78% during the Clinton years.

Google IPO today! Instant 18% return on my investment. Very nice. Yet, the financial news calls the auction method a "disaster," and that it didn't help the ordinary investor. Hah! I think that the big investment houses are shaking in their boots and they are trying to paint this IPO as a mess.

The big news of the week is the changes to AOL's AIM. They have removed Aim Expressions as we know it, replacing it with "super buddy icons" which they will charge $$ for like ring tones. Since Expressions have been a major part of my online ventures, I will soon have to rethink much of my online properties. Let me know if you have any ideas... AOL has also relseased a patched version of AIM 5.5 which fixes a major security hole found last week. I suggest you get it if you use aim.
