All your tires are now monitored. For those worried about Big Brother, look no further than the RFID devices now being implated into many products. Michelin will start embedding this in your tires, so all your car's movements can be tracked. These cheap little devices send out a radio frequency with their embedded ID number. A monitor station can be set up to query and track ID passing by. So, pretty soon, YOU will be able to be monitored by any monitor station! I will have to walk past my RFID sensor sweep everymorning soon.

Looking for something better than the Tivo? I think that MythTV, an open source project, may be the answer! Full internet, PVR, music, gaming and more. Looks like I should rig up my set top box asap. Anyone know of a good linux compatible TV tuner card?

The Midnight Run was last night. It was quite a blast running through central park in the middle of the night. To kick off the race, they had a very nice, very loud fireworks display right next to the start line. It was also a costume contest race, I wore my werewolf wig, which managed to scare a few people in the darker parts of the park. Anyway, since this is the year of running, I though it would be good to start it off right. Happy New Year everyone!!!!
